Let's save you some time and money today 🙌 and learn the first things to do when starting an online business.

When you're a new entrepreneur, you aren't sure what to do first... or next. Many female entrepreneurs start with fun stuff like logos and designing a website. 

This is the first mistake they make. 🙋‍♀️ I did it too - twice.

You need a website and a logo, but not yet.

When you start with only your vision and ideas, you leave out the most important thing... your ideal customers and what they need from you.

When you create a website without knowing your ideal customers, you'll redo your website over and over again as you learn more about them. Huge waste of time. And you don't need a website yet - so save your money. We'll get there very soon.

Instead, start by figuring out:

Your niche + Your ideal customer's needs/wants = Your brand

Great, but how do you do that? 

  1. Create your niche - Your niche isn't just picking a topic and talking about that one thing. Your niche is YOU. 

    You create your niche by combining these 👇  3 things to make your unique brand:
    • Your values/beliefs + experiences + skills/knoweldge 

  2. Choose your ideal customer - Everyone who needs what you offer is not your ideal customer. Talking to everyone appeals to no one. That kind of generic messaging sounds and feels salesy. 

    Your ideal customer is the person who believes what you believe and needs what you offer. 
    Get to know them and make them the focus of your business. 
      
  3. Get to know your ideal customer - Although your ideal customer may be an earlier version of you, your assumptions about what they need/want are often wrong.

    Ask them to tell you about their dreams, goals, challenges, and fears. They'll literally give you the words and phrases you need to create a brand that resonates and they want to hear more from you (doesn't feel salesy this way 👏 ).

    Your topic is the "what" circle. You'll see in this video that your topic doesn't matter as much without the "how" and most importantly the "why."
