Are you ready to create a life you love with purpose, clarity, and action? I have a free online vision board workshop that will show you exactly how to turn your dreams into a meaningful, actionable plan. Whether you’re new to vision boards or you’ve made them before but felt like it didn't do much for you, this guide is here to help you move from wishing to doing.
A vision board is a powerful tool to help you visualize the life you want to create.
It’s usually a picture collage filled with your goals, dreams, values, and inspirations.
A vision board helps capture these key areas:
Before we dive into the free workshop, let me explain why this tool works so well.
I get this question all the time and I get it, because I was skeptical at first too.
Here’s what I noticed after I created my first vision board:
Have you ever decided you want a certain car or a pair of shoes, and suddenly you see them everywhere?
It’s not that more of them suddenly appeared. Your focus changed.
A vision board helps you do the same with your life.
You clarify what matters most, create a visual reminder, and train your brain to notice the opportunities, connections, and steps that align with your goals.
But here’s the key: noticing isn’t enough.
You have to take action.
If you stop at just making the collage, not much will change.
You might start to notice little signs or opportunities around you, but if you don’t follow through and take action, those opportunities will quietly slip by.
A vision board is only the start.
The real magic happens when you pair your vision with small, intentional steps forward.
That’s why in my vision board course, I guide you beyond the pretty pictures and help you turn your board into a meaningful, actionable plan that moves you toward the life you want.
Here’s where a lot of people get stuck, and where I often step in as a coach to help make a plan.
Many busy women create a beautiful vision board… and then they stop.
One of my coaching clients once told me she had been making vision boards every January for years, but nothing ever actually changed in her life.
Once we worked together, she realized the vision board wasn’t the final step, it was just the starting point.
Through the vision board workshop, she:
A vision board is a tool to help you design your life, take intentional action, and move toward the goals that matter most to you.
If you want to know how to make a vision board that works and not just decorate your wall, the key is to turn your vision into action, one step at a time.
That’s exactly what the workshop will help you do in a way this blog post alone can’t.
If you were to peek at my own vision board, you’d see more than pretty photos and quotes.
You’d see my story... the real, imperfect, hopeful version of me.
My board holds reminders of what matters most:
It includes a lot of very personal and meaningful little touches:
It takes reflection and time to find pictures that have deep personal meaning, but it's so worth it.
Every time I look at my Vision Board it has meaning. It makes me feel hopeful, motivated, and excited about my life.
This is why I love the work I do as a coach for busy moms and women:
Because you deserve to design a life you love, not a life built on someone else’s expectations.
Because I believe in collaboration over competition, and I want to help you bring your boldest, most human dreams into reality... imperfectly, but fully.
That’s the power of a vision board. It’s not about the collage on the wall. It’s about the story you’re ready to tell with your life. A vision board becomes a living, evolving tool to help you design a life that’s meaningful, aligned, and truly your own.
Designing a Vision Board is fun, easy, and inexpensive. I've seen people open a magazine and just find pictures that speak to them and glue them to a poster board, which is awesome.
I follow a framework that I've created over time. It's led to many things happening that I put on my Vision Board each year.
Here's what I do:
Go through a series of questions to reflect on who I am now, who I want to be, how I want to feel, and what I want to do, be, have, and experience.
Design a vision board by finding meaningful visuals from old pictures, searching for photos and quotes online, and using Canva to make simple quote cards.
Make a plan for each goal, breaking your vision into actionable, no-overwhelm steps.
Take action on your plan with simple strategies to stay motivated, even when life gets busy.
Several of my coaching clients have used this approach and it helped them to create a vision board that truly works, not just a collage to hang on the wall.
One of the first things I created was this virtual workshop about vision boards because so many people asked me to show them what I do. The workshop is called: Create a Vision Board that Works, and it includes:
The lessons are a little longer than I'd like, because this was something I created a while ago, but it's still all valid content and I get great feedback on it. That’s why I’m offering this as a free online vision board workshop, so you can access it anytime and start creating your vision today.
